Dear Old Comrades, Association Members and Friends,

I am pleased to be in touch with you again with news and details of this year’s Ramnugger Dinner, which this year falls on the 25th November. This will be the last in a long series of very well attended and enjoyable gatherings and I hope very much for a “full house” attendance.  As for last year the event will be held at the Wessex Royale Hotel, 32 High West Street, Dorchester, DT1 1UP. (Tel: 01305 262660).

If attending you are requested to congregate in the bar by 7.30 pm ready to go through to dinner at 8.00 pm.  Dinner will be a sit-down meal of three courses with coffee at a price of £24 per person.  On conclusion of dinner male members attending will be invited to form a horseshoe and drink to the memory of the “Heroes of Ramnugger”.

Dress for the occasion will be suits/blazers and Regimental ties for the men and cocktail dresses for the ladies.

I have negotiated a reduced price of £80 (twin/double) as usual for those of you who require accommodation, so if you wish to stay and enjoy the discounted rate please mention that you are attending The Kings Royal Hussars Reunion Dinner.  The contact details for the Wessex Royale Hotel is 01395 262660.

Please complete the attached return (see link above) and send it to me no later than 17 Nov, the return address is on the form.  Any late entries after 17 Nov will be required to sing “Sussex by the Sea” to the tune of “She’ll be Coming Round the Mountain” after dinner for our entertainment.

Lt Col (Retd) J M D Moger
